The milk district holds a little bit of my heart.  The drop shop was a place I have frequently visited, and eventually DJed at.  Now that the drop shop is gone. I still like to visit the sandwich bar, owned by the previous owners of the Crooked Bayou, and sportstown billiards, which has some fairly nice pool tables and cheep food.  Taken July 7th…

While many can say that the flash platform is loosing steam due to the popularity of mobile devices and the advent of HTML5+CSS3+JavaScript, there are still reasons to use Flash for internet application development.  HTML5 does have many methods to create games, or more advanced applications, when more advanced communication is required, another technology for…

H.DOT, Digital Image.  This image is the culmination of many counter cultures brought together.  I have always been interested in the off-the-beaten-path music, listening to punk from an early age.  I later got into broken-beat electronic music.  I learned how to “spin” records, but I am a visual artist, so i went on a path…

Botanicals, Digital Image on Kodak glossy photo paper.  In 1999 my father started a compounding pharmacy in Boca Raton, called Skip’s Pharmacy.  The method of mixing and combining chemicals and the notion of being an apothecary just reminded me of an almost steam punk ideal.  I ended up researching more into Alphose Mucha because I…

I have always been about simplicity in my own personal website. This being my 4th WordPress site and first site that I could not control the design was a bit strange. You are allowed to change the theme with whatever themes are supplied, but you cannot edit the settings very much at all. So in…

Shifty, 8×10 Torn Paper on Bristol. Skating has always been an influence in my life.  The style and movement is an art form in itself, and the technical aspect shows that it is done by superheros.

A Maryanne Galvin Film dealing with the complexities in the urban area and how people can revisit nature.  It also touches on the differences in age groups as the primary subjects are both younger children who are about to go off and start their lives, and older people who have lived, and want to provide…

After the success of the Gold Hill Truck HDR, I decided to do a whole series of Americana based things. This subject has seemed a bit over done of recent, but I wanted to enhance a bit with HDR created from bracketing and RAW files. The Flying Americana Car,  Ink Jet Print on Arches White.…
